How do I donate clothes?

You can donate good quality clothing, shoes and accessories to three locations across Sydney. Click here for locations

Rough Threads is all about restoring dignity and self-worth. It is for this reason that we cannot accept any items that are old, dirty, ripped or have inappropriate slogans.

When getting your items ready for Rough Threads think about each item and ask yourself if you believe someone would be proud to wear it? If the answer is ‘yes’ then please include it with your donations.

Please wash fold and deliver your items folded in bags or boxes. We can also accept shoes and good quality accessories such as handbags, watches, belts, sunglasses and hats.

What donations don’t you accept?

We are unable to accept any linen including blankets and sleeping bags as well as any household items. Please do not bring these with you to the drop off points as they will not be accepted.
